Wouldn't it be good if America was like this?
I think the only laws that should apply to us are ones in which other people are affected in a negative way. If I want to come home and smoke some weed why does the government have a problem with it? As long as you don't get behind a car. Shouldn't drugs be legal as long as they are done in your own home and are not affecting anyone else? People are going to do drugs anyway but if they were legal atleast they could regulate it and stop making americans fund terrorists in order to get it when they could produce it themselves. Also that would stop a lot of drug related murders. What about prostitution? If someone wants to do it and people are willing to pay for it, then why is illegal in most states. America needs to get with the program, some laws they have are ridiculous. I feel that if you want to do it, its your own life do what you want how can people tell you otherwise. This should only apply if and only if you don't do things which could affect other people ie murder, rape, etc.

I would have to agree somewhat. We should be able to have more freedoms then we have now. I would legalize pot, cocaine, and prostitution but drugs such as herion, crack, xtc etc are to hardcore and would bring Americans down too much, they would be like zombies all day. Do you really want that? People should be able to live their lives the way they want to a certain extent. One thing I would get rid of though is that stupid seat belt law. How can police make you wear a seatbelt if you don't want too?
Are you serious?
Or, is this Bill Clinton?
That is the stupidest question I've ever seen on freelawanswer.com .
Because people are idiots. Sure, maybe YOU don't drive while under the influence, but plenty of others would, just like tons of people drink and drive while others do drink but have common sense.
Holy crap, I didn't even read the rest of your question other than the weed part... The rest is just... Stupid. 2 points..
Laws are ment to be broken. No matter what the law is, or how you want it to change. They will still be broken. Such is the true American Way.
Pot, Cocaine, Heroin were all legal up to fairly recently, they were made illegal to curb their use.
Sort of like the prohibition of alcohol back in the thirties.
The results, I think, speak for themselves.
