Can you be sued and/or arrested for prank calling someone ONCE?

I am wondering if you can be sued/arrested for prank calling someone once? I thought it might be harrassment but doesnt that need several times to be considered that?

It would entirely depend on what exactly the prank call consisted of.

Just one call can cause defamation of an individual and permently damage their image.
Just one call can be considered harassment.

You might not be looking at serious time for one prank call but there may be consequences for it.

Yeah I doubt it. Only if the guys is a total idiot.
