What happens if you are convicted of domestic assult and battery in front of a minor?

Answers:
1) Assuming the marital partner left the domestic violent situation--and NO, I am not making assumptions that person is a female--my answer is for either a male or a female;
2) Assuming that the marital partner filed for divorce--now I am assuming you are married;
3) I hope that the judge is smart enough to take into consideration the conviction and only grant supervised visitation rights because I don't trust a person that cannot control their temper no matter how provoked to be in the presence of a child.

(If you want to impress the judge, get into an anger management program.)

It depends on the state. The state of Indiana does charge for those sorts of things done in front of children.
my state CT, would get you for risk of injury to a minor
