What is the process for a parent who wants to give up rights to their child in GA?

Answers:
You do know that giving up your parental rights does not alleviate your child support obligation, unless someone adopts your child and agrees that you are no longer in support of the child.

You can file a motion or have your spouse file a motion to give legal and physical custody to the other parent. That does NOT alleviate your responsibility for child support, etc.
Contact a lawyer and have him prepare the papers and file to the court for appearance. Then, in court, the judge will question you carefully and either terminate your parental rights or say no.
