Why do people rape people?

Most psychologists believe that it has way more to do with power and dominance than any sort of sexual urge.
Maybe they're sad cuz they can't get any without forcing. Dunno.

it's all about a sick feeling of having power and control.
Mostly because they want to control that person.
there are a few reasons, but psycologeists say the main reason is power and social dominance over the victim. which in my opinion is true, because anyone can get a hooker or a prostitute and they would be sexually satisfied. also, only 14% of the rape cases in the US are date rape cases, or rape by some one you know personally. there are very few cases of stranger rape.
but just for your safety, 1 in four women are raped in their lifetime, but only one in 14 males are raped. stay safe, everyone!
rage, power, & control
It's a power trip, and even if they do get caught, the penalty ain't that bad!
Seriously, most rapists don't even consider what will happen to them if they get caught, they are sure they have found a way to "beat the system"!
They crave power over others, it's a big show of "what a big man they are" for them!
