Has a registered sex offender EVER become successful AFTER...?

Has a registered sex offender ever shook off the chains of the scarlett letter and become a succesful and productive member of society? I am not talking about the ones who fail to register and skate by on anonymity or the people who become advocates.

I am in law school and doing part 2 of a research paper on sex offenders.

Please cite where you found your information and ---

If you are a registered sex offender with a positive outcome, that would be a bonus.
Answer:   yes, lots of them do. Here in wisconsin you must register as a sex offender if caught and procecuted for being say... 18 having consensual sex with a 16 year old. so a good majority go on and live a good life. But others, forget it, they continue to re-offend. Like they never grow up and have the mentality of a 16 year old forever.
Maybe you should talk to Dr. Phil or contact one of those care center's that specialize in Sexual Deviant therapy.
Clinton.
I dont know. But I was listening to the radio this morning regarding the Catholic Church and priest sex offenders and the San Diego branch diocese prepared to file bankruptcy to hold off going to court in child molestation cases. Also, this morning on the news in the State of Alabama it went to the supreme court, right, regarding no selling/commerce of sexual toys due to morality issues. ...so here's a question for your sex offender paper...If a legal sexual oriented establishment such as nudity dancing has to be no closer than 1000 yds (whatever?) of a public school....WHY isnt there a law regarding distance of actual known sexual offenders in our neighborhoods? huh? huh?
you ever heard of Roman Polanski? look it up!!!!!!do your own homework!!!!!!!!!
