Swords in Michigan?

I want to order a sword, and I'm wondering wether you need a permit or something like that in order to own one.
PS I live in Michigan.

Answer:
Couldn't find anything in the Michigan Compiled Laws that says you can't own a sword (or that you need a permit), but carrying one in public, concealing one, assaulting someone with a sword, or possessing one in an airport or in a public school is DEFINITELY a crime.

Just a sword, dull not sharp, shouldn't be a problem. A REAL, CAN CAUSE FATAL, POSSIBLY, sword... contact your PD there to get a answer on what they need/want.
