Are all sex offenders evil?
Would you hire a sex offender if that person was well qualified?

Not all sex offenders are bad people. A person above the age of consent (usually 18) may have fallen for someone younger and they were caught having sex. They are labeled as sex offenders by making one mistake.
Ill try and phrase it another way. IN this day and age girls are dateing older guys, usually a 16 year old will go out with a 18 year old. Now if the 18 yr old is caught having sex with the 16 yr old the 18 yr old is labeled a sex offender for the REST of his life. So its not like he went out and molested some girl or something. I dont know the actual percentage of people who end up in that situation though
No all sex offenders are not evil. But it is a stigma that will hurt them regardless of the crime.
I think it's ridiculous that someone who is 18 that sleeps with a minor gets stamped as a sex offender. It's quite hard these days to tell how old girls are...and guys too. Something like this would probably not interefere so much with my feelings on hiring someone.
But if someone is a predator or had committed a crime against a minor when they were 20 years older than the minor, then yes it would interefere.
Yes.. sex offenders are ALL evil. Even the 18 year old ones. 18 is the age in this country where you become an adult, and take responsibility for you actions. to bad for you if you're dating a minor. wait, to have sex.
sex offenders need to rot in jail, for a minium of 25 years.We need to protect the children, and their futures. they deserve that much.

There is a problem with using a blanket statement like this.
The problem is that the law is a little odd about sex offender.
Would I knowingly hire a rapist, only if the job carried with it a high likely hood that the guy would be killed on the job.
What about a guy, who when he was in his mid to late 20's and was dating a girl who had a fake ID that said she was 22 but was really only 16. When her parent found out, they had him arrested and he went to jail for statutory rape. Hmmm... Now it gets a little fuzzy doesn’t it. The girl lied. She got in to bars and had proof that she was older then she was. But it's still the guys fault. How? Oh yea, he should be psychic. (And don’t fool yourself, this stuff does happen, more often then one might think.)
To answer your first question, no! Not all sex offenders are evil... Most, but not all.
So, I guess my answer is, it would depend on the circumstances. Oh wait a moment, you aren’t permitted to ask those questions are you? So, NO! If I knew the person was a rapist, I would NOT hire them.
It's so nice that the law in this land is just...Just what? I don’t know.
