What class missdamenor is a charge of "assault conduct"?

is it a class A B C

Answers:
It depends on the assault charge. Usually an Assault IV is a class A misdemeanor which is the highest misdemanor. Assault II & III are varying felonies and an Assault I is usually a class A felony. Assault I's and II's usually inbvolve serious bodily harm and the use of a weapon.

That's Oregon's statutes anyway. I'm sure they're similar in most states.

Go to your city's website and they may have a link to their court system. If they do then follow that and that one may have a link to the city's own code. If its a state law violation then look up the state you live in and look for whatever code you got a ticket for and that will explain it.

In local cities in my area the city has to make their code available to the general public by law. The same may apply to your area or maybe you can research it by going to your local library as they sometimes have a law section.
