of course i think pot and marijuana should be illegal. Even though kids and adults find a way to do it anyway, if we let it be legal then the world will be doomed because it'll be everywhere. I mean now that we know more info on it, the people who are smart enough not to have it, wont have it. But there are people who are vulnerable and people who want to try something new and may try it. So keeping it illegal, it'll be harder for people to pass it around, because they'll be worried if they get caught.

No it should not be legalized, this would drive up the prices! (pot tax) Make it harder to get, and it wouldn't be as good. It is bad enough as it is, if government gets involved it will be like everything else that government gets involved in, screwed up.
Pot is everywhere and it's not going any where any time soon. Marijuana has been medically proven to help with the side effects of chemotherapy and other medical ailments...with that being said how many direct deaths have occured from overdosing from consumption?
I don't smoke and I'm certainly not telling everybody to blaze up and hold hands, but I feel that out of all of the "illegal" drugs out there Marijuana is the lesser of the evils. What happened to the Crack epidemic...misuse of prescription drugs...crystal meth addiction...alcohol abuse...nicotine addiction? All of those are waaay worse that smoking weed.The government needs to focus on more important issues like bringing our troops home.
I think that if they legalized marijuana then it would be strictly for financial gain because the taxes they'd impose would be extremely high and it'd cause more damage than good.
