Is the drinking age in the UK definatly going from 18 to 21?

I was wondering if the drinking age in the UK is definitely going from 18 to 21? And if so when is it going to happen?

I hope not. Moving that age in the US has created a bunch of underage, lawbreaking alcoholics. What is forbidden is sought. As far as I am concerned if you are old enough to pay taxes, vote, have a drivers license and DIE FOR YOUR COUNTRY, you are old enough to drink legally
