My boyfriend got a DUI - how long will his license be suspended?

Just wonering if there is a typical amount of time to suspend a license if you get a DUI? Thanks!

Add your state to the question and I'm sure someone will be able to provide a better answer. I think that most states now provide a 1 year suspension for the first offense but I could be wrong for your state.

Should be for a REALLLY REALLLLY long time.
Call the local DMV, I think he may be able to get a restricted license, he can argue he needs his license for work. When I worked at the phone co. a license was required, they could fire you if you didn't have one.
3 to 5 years
6 months in Florida.
6 months to a year
