In the year 1997, Indian actor Pawan Kalyan had got married to Nandinee. Soon, differences of opinion cropped up and he decided to end his marriage with her. He ended up falling in love with Renu Desai, who had worked with him as his heroine in some of his films. The two got married and now have a son. Lot of time has passed since then. Nandinee has sought the court's help to nullify his marriage to Renu Desai because she claims that she wasn't granted a formal divorce yet. In her affidavit, she also has accused Pawan's family members for encouraging him to enter into a bigamous relationship. The mystery is- why did Nandinee wait for such a long time before filing the complaint? (she says she was threatened by Pawan and he bought out police, common in India by the rich).

Either he has evidence of the divorce or he doesn't. If he does, her complaint is dismissed. If he doesn't, he's guilty of bigamy. Since I'm not constrained by knowing the law in that state, I'd grant Nandinee a divorce and generous alimony. Since Renu was never married to Pawan legally, I would suggest she sue him too. :-)
