Lockpicking addiction?
I love picking locks using homemade ones. However i wanted to buy a real set. I want to buy it in Florida. I think it is legal as long as you don't use it on other people's lock, is it? I want to know if the airport will confiscate it for 'going equipped'. What i want to know:
1. Is it legal (Florida)
2. Will the airport confiscate it
3. What are objects that are made of metal and xrays wont go through them (just in case i want it to conceal my picks)
Why cant they make licences for picks?

Why not go have a chat with a locksmith? This is what they do for a living, they can answer your questions, and maybe give you some tips on how to turn your hobby into a career.
stick to your nose.
but to answer your question you can put your james bond gear in you checked luggage. i hope you find your way into a colorado home and make a coloradians day cause you will be dead with a pick in your hand. happy breaking and entering.
3. Ceramic's are good but are brittle, they don't show up on Xray, they cost more and can break.
2. Wouldn't know if they would to be honest, if its in hold luggage I don't see why they would.
1. Pass
Why not get a job as a lock smith? It's decent money, you get to play with locks all day and you have an excuse to play with lock picking tools.
Unless you are a locksmith, or other persons authorized to have them, they are considered burgler's tools, and you can be arrested and prosecuted.
