How do you remove a picture from the group which was not consent and the picture is illegal.?
Searching through a group i found a pic of a family member who did not consent for the picture to be posted. how can the pic be removed?.

Contact whoever is in charge of the group and explain the situation to them. Most people will be happy to comply with your request.
In some cases the person in charge of the group does not know how to, so the two of you then need to go to the ISP to ask for assistance in accomplishing that.
For future reference, note that anything posted to the Internet is extremely difficult to totally erase, because where ever it got posted, an unknown number of other people may have copied it elsewhere. You probably know about Google and Yahoo search engines ... there are hundreds of others ... each one has in cache a copy of some earlier version of some web site.
Thus, our responsibility is to avoid posting in the first place what should not be posted.
For future reference, there are millions of laws in the USA which are not enforced, except capriciously. One such law is that it is illegal to take people photographs without their permission, or pictures of their property, but in practical terms people take photos of everything. So typically in a court case, someone has photographic evidence of some alleged crime, and they need judge's permission to enter as evidence, which is almost always given.
If the picture was taken with the family member's consent, nothing.
if you live in the USA, and they took it in a public place, ypu are out of luck leagally. However if you ask them to take it down, they probably will.
Nothing really, but if they are nice they will take it down if asked.
