What is actually going to happen in September for theory tests and provisional licences??
There have been alot of rumours flying about concerning the theory test and/or the age requirement for UK licences, such as... theres a NEW test added or that the AGE to take the test has been raised to 21/18 years old.has anyone out there know whats going to happen in september and ease the panic of attempting to book the test and revise before september?? (argh!)
Answers:
Apparently, 35 questions in the theory part will become 50.
Also, another couple of video clips to be added to the Hazard Perception part of the test.
Oh! And of course, there will be an increase in the price to take the test.Surprise! Surprise!
As far as I know nothing. The increased age proposal is for the future. No doubt including compulsory driving lessons raking in lots of nice VAT money for the Government. And making it more difficult and expensive for the young driver
i checked out the official dvla website at www.dvla.gov.uk and there is no mention on there of any changes to the test requirements
