How many years do you get for unarmed robbery?

just curious

Answers:
Anywhere from 3 to 10 years depending on whether or not it is your first offense and what type of force you used, if not a weapon.

The only exception would be bank robbery which would carry a 20-25 year sentence even if you used a note or other non-force method.

3-6
It depends where you live and what your criminal record is; without knowing that for sure I can not tell you exactly.

But as a general rule states go on a point based system--each Felony counts as a sentencing point. The points are put out on a grid by seriousness of offense--the current one. And the result is your sentence. Points on the side; seriousness on the top and the intersection is the time.

For example. Lets say that you have no points, and the seriousness of the Robbery is a 4--for Robbery 2--in my state that would equal about 18 months in the joint. For Robbery 1 it would be about 3 years.

Hope this helps. But to get more specific. Look up robbery in your states code and then look up the sentencing guidelines in the same set of laws. It is all there just keep looking till you find it. Good luck, and God Bless.
Don't do it, it is not worth it !!!
