Is there a way to get a drivers license in Texas without having a social security #??
i live in Tx and i was just wondering if there's a way for me to get a driver's license since i dont have a social. n am not a legal resident

Some of my friends who don't have a SSN drive illegally. I strongly advise you NOT to do this because you could face jail sentence if you are caught and possibly get deported.
There isn't any way to get a driver license unless you become a legal resident.

Edit: I sentenced two illegals today for aggravated unlicensed operation of a MV. Both got a year in jail and deported afterwards.

you can call dps and ask them but i am sure a ssn is needed. they may take other forms of id but i am not sure
