Does anyone feel like there are alot of bans of freedoms happening more than ever?
Bans about petty things like smoking, that rollercoaster you can't scream on, silent ice cream trucks, books, free speech, etc. Aren't people really griping over such b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t.?

Absolutley! The "nanny state" has taken over. I mean c'mon fer chrissakes, giving a parent a ticket if their kid isn't wearing a helmet AND safety glasses on a bigwheel? Of course I was susequently charged with assaulting a police officer, but the idiot had it coming.

Yes and it's gonna get worse
According to polls, more that half of citizens feel such as you do. Our government is run by our fellow citizens. Sad to say, these citizens are shoving their own ideas and beliefs down our throats that the "majority" of us don't like.
Move to Cuba one person said? What a pathetic message to post. Apparently that posters does not understand the meaning of "democracy" and what our Constitution and Bill of Rights stand for.
It's time to make a stand and clean out these people shoving these stupid bans and law down our throats. They are a threat to all ... just like George Bush and Dick Cheney - both are on a testosterone high and think they are untouchables. Can't stand people who are prententious and put themselves about others. When in fact, they are normally the biggest narcissist and psychopaths you can possibly come across.
