Dating a customer/client from your job.?

I don't work and am wondering, what are the rules for dating someone whose a client or customer at the place you work? For those who work in the corporate/nonprofit world (accounting firms, finance, banks, law firms, etc) what are the rules where you work? If there are rules.

Answers:
Depends on where you work. In some jurisdictions, lawyer cannot date clients unless they were dating before forming the attorney client relationship. With other offices, it depends on your employeed code/handbook.

That would depend on where they work and what the rules are at that particular location.
Any time the customer is properly called a "client" it is probably inappropriate to date them. You as the professional could, however, have yourself re-assigned so that there would not be that conflict.
