Can my neighbors sue me for skinny dipping in their pool when they wern't home?

they can indeed sue you if they can prove it. if you did not have permission, you were trespassing and that is illegal..
i doubt they would do so unless you have other incidences against you.

Anyone can sue anyone for anything in the US; weather they win or not is another story.
But I wouldn't blame them if they did. I would. What would have happened if you had been severely injured or killed frolicking around their pool? I would at least have you ARRESTED for trespassing.
they might be able to get you for tresspassing, and any damages you might have caused.
First of all you were trespassing if they hadn't given you permission to be on their property. Next, you might be charged with indecent exposure.

I wouldn't worry about it.
A restraining order is more likely than a lawsuit.
(If that comes down, you'll just have to sneak into some other neighbor's pool to skinny dip)

If I were the neighbor with the swimming pool, I wouldn't want some uninvited strangers putting their a** in my pool. I would install security cameras, and have you arrested if you did it again.
You cannot trespass on anyone's property for your personal enjoyment. If you did it to me, you would end up being tasered up your a**.
Not if you had permission, were house sitting for them, and or they didn't know about your use of the pool.
If they are the sueing type, babe, you really don't have much choice but to hit them preemptively.
If you were able to access their pool, I know your rugrats could do the same! That is a dangerous situation, and in your shoes I wouldn't be able to eat or sleep until this hazard was addressed in litigation!

Tresspassing--YES ! Criminal-- trespass ?? How did that neighbor learn of your indescretion?? Crameras?? Were you the only one in your foray?? Did you have a "party" with others present? Did you engage in any sezual activities, either with another, or alone ( some people do weard things, at times), did you have an orgy with others??
Too many questions not answered to give any estimate as to how much the neighbors could be awarded in a courrt of law, how long you might spend in the local CROSSBAR HOTEL,, etc.
