Felony probation and flying?

I am on felony probation so i had to get a travel permit cause i am flying to boston soon.my officer said i need this in case they stop me(homeland sercurity) What are the chances i will get stopped? anybody go through this?

Answer:
When I last flew in 2001 - I was stopped at each stop by TSA agents and searched.

I would suggest driving rather than flying.
