Underage drinking...Are exceptions allowed??
Im turning 19 next month and my husband wants to do something really nice for me...like go out to a fancy restaurant and all that good stuff but since im still under the age would they allow me to drink with him?? Hes 21 so he does it legally.
Drinking isnt really that important to me but it would be nice to have a drink or two since its my night...i dont really like overdoing it ...I live in texas by the way.im not sure if it makes a difference
Answers:
It is illegal for you to drink and it is illegal for anyone to provide you with alcohol.
That doesn't mean you can't get it, or that you can't be sneaky and order one for your husband and another...um... for your husband.
You are not allowed to do this outside of your own home that I am aware of.
You don't need alcohol to have a nice night -- just have a nice dinner without it. I usually do and I have been legal for years.
It's been a decade or two, but the way I got around it when my wife was under the legal drinking age was to buy two and give one to her.
The bar couldn't serve it to her, but they could serve it to me and I could give it to her.
Dunno if that's still legal or not, tho.
no there really are no legal exceptions.
underage is underage.
have drinks at the house and no one will be the wiser :)
hahahahahahahahahah no.....its not your night, til your 21..
