Should Phiip Lawrence's murderer by allowed to stay in Britian, thus protecting his human rights?

What about Philip Lawrence's family's rights? Do they have any?

Answers:
No. They should send him back from where he's come from.
I felt so sad yesterday when I heard that is wife said she
couldn't see the point in going on anymore.
The victims suffer forever.
Human Rights? what a joke!! minxy.

personally I think that people who murder or rape should not have their human rights protected, they have acted like animals, why should we have to pander to their wishes when they have taken away not only their vitim but ther victims familys human rights

I think treatment of serious criminals is a farce, like spending how ever many thousands it was to allow peter sutcliffe to go out for a day out for his birthday last year!! And we can't afford the NHS! something very very wrong with that image
Human rights are a joke, when you take away someone elses human rights, ie. violent crime, murder in this case you should forfiet your own.
I am generally a liberal, and generally 'pro' human rights legislation.

However, this is an Italian citizen, who has done ZERO for this country, and who is destined to do ZERO for this country when he is let out. he has been nothing but a drain on British resources and will continue to be a drain on British resources.

Once he has served the time for his crime, he should be sent back to his own country

I have heard that he doesn't speak Italian. well, he has had 10 yrs in jail - at our expense - and has had plenty of time to learn. - he still has a couple of years to go - plenty of time to brush up

I say... "Ciao, loser"
no the justice should be served.
He should have all of his "Human Rights" withdrawn, and come to that, so should the idiots who came to the stupid conclusion that he shouldn't ! ! !
I really can't understand this country. There is no justice system. I really do believe once you've committed such a monstrous crime you have no human rights full stop. What image is this showing the type of scum of the world like the person who killed Philip Lawrence?
It is tempting to give in to my gut reaction and say 'send him home', but there is more to this case. He was born in Italy and his father was Italian. He has had no contact with his father or with Italy. He was raised in the UK, so the Italians seem to have little responsibility for him. His attitudes were formed here. If he was deported, he would be an EU citizen in an EU country and would therefore have free access to the UK. At the time of the murder, he was a fifteen year old boy, and I would hope that now at 26, he is a different person. Better to save the cost of further appeals and the deportation process and to concentrate on how to prevent equally senseless crimes from being committed in the future.
Nope this is totally wrong! not like he is gonna get tortured when he returns home is it.

he has no right to stay here, why is the right of one person more important than the right of a whole nation and more importantly the family of the victim. They are devastated by this ruling and rightly so, feel let down by the UK court system.

they should send him packing and any other johnny foreigner that commits a crime in this country. they should serve time in their own country too, not ours. let their own authorities deal with them.
OK he should still be in prison with minimum human rights.

However given the current state of affairs we can.t treat him any different from other criminals. How long has he lived here people don't say. the fact is that he was born in Italy but he could conceivably have been brought here a couple of weeks after birth does anybody know ?

I feel for Mrs Lawerence the bastard should still be in prison.
I'm usually pretty liberal when it comes to offender rehabilitation and human rights law. However, I cannot for the life of me condone the refusal of the court to grant the deportation order. He took a life and must be deported. It really is that simple, especially when you consider that the deportation order is for Italy, a member of the EU.
If he was British, he would not be deported.

I do not see that any of Mrs. Lawrence's rights are being breached in this matter.
I think his human rights will be decided by the person or group who beat(s) him to a pulp soon after his release from prison. Anyone who says they cannot see this as a possibility is living in a different reality.

I see another of these "release with a new identity" scenarios coming up folks.
