What would my responsibilities be if I chose to bond someone?

out of jail? The person has 2 counts of felony child neglect. Nowhone else wants to be involved and the truth is... neither do I... but what does this responsibility include? Can I get in trouble if the person screws up? How long would I be responsible for her?

Answers:
A bond is a financial guarantee that a person won't flee the jurisdiction to avoid prosecution - if they do, whatever bond you pledge will be seized.

Your responsibilities are to make sure the person you bond for shows up in court. You have no authority, but you do have responsibility.
