Why do you more time killing an aminal than a human?
I like animales too but that is a bit much I mean
you get up to 60 years for killing a dog
and only 20 years for a human.
Answers:
I've never heard of somone getting more than a few years for cruelty to animals. If they had multiple short term charges they could add up though. That's probably what happened.
Ex. 1 person = 20 years
1 dog = 3 years
You kill/abuse 20 dogs = 60 years
yea thats crazy
Where are you? It's not that way where I live in NYS.
crazy, i know. it is groups like the aclu and peta.
*LOL* You must live in " Dog Town "
Like many things it depends on the circumstances. Like if you accidentally kill someone you won't serve for long. If you plan it out and kill some one you will be in jail for the rest of your life. If you accidentally kill an animal you don't go to jail. If you do it on purpose for a good reason you don't go to jail. It's only if you do it in a very cruel way for a very cruel reason that you get jail time.
and molest a kid you get a few months maybe. Justice in the USA.
A dog never talks back to you and is loyal to the end. They have innocence like children. Humans at least can talk and fight back if you abuse one, but an animal can not. Humans that abuse animals are also more likely to inflict harm on others.
If it were up to me Ida made him fry. What he did was disgusting.
Murder is punishable by life imprisonment... or, in some places, death.
But I like dogs better than most humans. They are loyal... and they'll do anything for you. And, when Jesus was talking about loving unconditionally, the dogs listened... humans didn't.
I think you are looking at a very different scenario, their are a variety of charges one could be hit with if a human is killed from justifiable homicide to first degree murder. In many cases with first degree murder you have death penalty provisions so I think that is more harsh than the punishment for killing an animal. You also have many murder charges that result in life imprisonment with out chance of parole. So I think the law you definitely hit was some level of homicide which is much different in the eyes of the law than murder.
Try asking your question to some of the ppl on death row.
It depends upon the circumstances. one of my neighbors beat a man to death and robbed him and got a year and a half in prison and 5 years probation. (armed robbery and manslaughter)
Another who beat his horses with a whip during 'training' got 10 years and is barred from owning any animal for life. (cruelty to animals)
It just doesn't make sense...
I have never heard of anyone getting 60 years for killing one dog. On the other hand, many factors go into every criminal case. Maybe the dog killer was especially hanus and the person who killed a person had mitigating factors.
