I rather think that Dubai wouldn't be too pleased to hear they were under British rule. It's been a Gulf Shaikdom for generations and joined the UAE in 1971. What is your nationality?
Dubai wasnt in the UAE in 1966 and was never in the British Empire.Like a number of other states in the Gulf prior to the UAE the British army did have a presence but by invitation of the ruler.
