What can u do legally to have a mental health patient to be hospitalized and get forced to take meds and get a
cause he wont take his meds hes out of control calls me b word slamms doors is noisy loud has listened to my conversations and cops been here more than once he eats most of food cant manage his life and money and seems he burns his bridges with all even his family. email and im plz. where in manchester new hampshire area.

next time, ask the person first if they're bi-polar and if they are committed to taking their meds before you move in with them
you cannot force a psychotic to take meds! I worked in psych unit.its agianst the law to force them even if psychotic...my advice, get away from them they usually kill family members eventually!! not kidding
Mental Health Facilities cannot force patients to take medication. If they are forcing such action, then they are acting illegally.
I know the feeling. You can call the sheriff or police department and tell them about the situation. They then will come to your house and can make him go to the hospital, by arresting him and stuff like that.
If the lease is in your name only, I would get a restraining order against him, tell the landlord you don't want him around and change the locks.
In Florida, if someone is a threat to themselves or another, they can be arrested and brought to a hospital for an involuntary admission to a psychiatric hosptial but they can only keep them for a couple of days. If this fellow is abusive and doesn't want to take his meds, there is nothing you or anyone else can do about it. You did not create this problem so you can't solve it. Get him out and stop having any contact w/ this loser.
