National Day of Protest: A day without Americans April 17, 2006

In response to the recent mass national rallies fearlessly staged by the illegal alien lobby, The Dustin Inman Society is suggesting that Americans nationwide stay home from work and not spend any money on April 17. 2006 - the first day after tax day.

The country needs to witness a day without Americans.

It is not an overstatement to observe that the federal government has abandoned the American people and we teeter on the brink of national suicide.

The well-funded illegal alien lobby has been successful in galvanizing the millions of illegal aliens in the nation to march in American streets demanding no less than open borders, continued selective law enforcement and amnesty for people who should be in fear of apprehension and deportation.

That's exactly what I've been saying. People love to complain about everythin but really don't want to do anything to change things. They want everyone else to do it for them.

Why do you think the Latinos are getting their way? THEY ARE ORGANIZED and get off their butts.
This is like the "gas outs" I get emails about all the time. It doesn't do anything.

Edit: Not to mention that what defines an American? Some one born here? 1st generatin? 2nd? Legal? Illegal? Everyone is supposed to be welcome here. Who are we to say who is illegal anyhow? Columbus wasn't legal... Washington wasn't...
You funny! That's EASTER! Tax day isn't EASTER!
what the H#!! are you talking about?
a day with out Americans.
I say get out of the country. go back where you came from. then you can have your whole life without Americans.
Only a day? Better, how about deport a legal twit day, but who would have you??
I would if I could. It sounds like a good idea. I have one problem with it. My company gives us a paid holiday for today, Good Friday. Company policy states that in order to get paid for any paid holiday you must work your full shift both the day before and the day after the holiday. If I don't go to work on Monday, I lose my holiday pay.

Sorry.
good luck. I know that I will not be participating.
The illegal aliens have nothing to lose. If they don't go to work, they aren't what you would call losing legal jobs. Americans have legal jobs and aren't jeopardizing them to prove anything. What do we have to prove or what is the purpose?
I AM SO WITH YOU HAYLEY , it ok for them to talk about their protest they shouldnt bite the hand that feeds them
"Who are we to say who is illegal anyhow? Columbus wasn't legal... Washington wasn't... "

If there's no government, it can't be illegal. Therefore, Columbus wasn't illegal. He was also allowed to stay. Washington wasn't illegal.
I am in. I mean I don't have anything to lose, I am in this country illegally anyway. Also, if you mean a day without consumption, it would be great. Maybe the 12-year-old kid in Guatemala that's getting paid 25 cents an hour make your clothes can take a break. Or the Chilean that's growing your fruit can have a day off. Or just maybe the Mexican farmer that has to compete with the heavily subsidized American growers can find a market for his products. That would be great. Count me in.
I think it would be incredible to pull something like that off......only it should be the 5th of May. Damn illegals. By the way, you might be interested in the following website it deals with topics like these. http://www.getmycountryback.com
That is for anti-immigrant people. You should called it "A Day Without Racist Americans" instead of "a day without Americans" or maybe "a day without anti-immigrants ". LOL. Really, don't you think? Why called it a name that does not fit what it is really going to be? Well anyways I don't think that many Americans are going to support this day.You see, a day without immigrants will be a day that all immigrants, illegal or not, will unite to support a goal: that they u.s. government understands that immigrants do contribute in a good way to the u.s. economy. April 7 a day that wants to support a cruel goal. Not all Americans think like you, in fact I think that very few Americans will support this boycott. Not every American is like you, racist and anti-immigrant. There are many good Americans that will not support this boycott.

Well I'm going to tell you something similar of what you told me that day that I posted the question : What do you think about the boycott that is going to happens in may 1?
I'm going to tell you that I'm going to be sooooooooooo happy that April 17 is going to be a day without racist and anti-immigrants people like you! LTHTT!
nope because my damn mom won let me out the hotel room to go to the vending machine, so no I'll be at the water park. :C
I'm with you.
Oh, God! Angi, go lay down already!! Good, Hayley! This is a start! The people of America need to stand up together, to hold hands and raise their voices as one, and shout out ENOUGH! We are Americans, and we aren't going to be tread upon any longer! Conservatives and liberals, hippies and construction workers, left, right, and all points in between! These supporters of illegals getting amnesty and open borders are kidding only themselves if they think that most Americans support them. Muy loco, as a matter of fact! Most Americans are fed up with having to support millions of non Americans who are in this country illegally! The American people have been challenged. We cannot allow our asinine Legislators allow any kind of compromise on this. It's all or nothing! Reagan gave amnesty to 3 million and set down guidelines that were supposed to keep what is happening from happening. It didn't work then, and it won't work now! 10% of Mexico is already here! STOP THE MADNESS!!
