I s it legal to secretly tape a conversation in my own house in NSW?.?

I want to secretly place a digital tape recorder in a home office to check on what is happening while i am away. The office is used only by family members. Is this legal? If its not allowed what law actually applies? Thanks

If it is on YOUR property, yes you can. However, that doesn't mean you can USE the recording at all in court. In fact, you have about a 1% chance OR LESS or getting a judge to let it in.

Of course it is legal -it is your house and a man's house is his castle
