Using someones name for my ticket,?
years ago I used a friends name on a ticket. The reason basicly being i had some serious warrants at time, was desperate time/desperate situation. The person does know about this, and he knows im working to get it taken care of. This is about 3-4 years ago. It was for speeding, got arrested, was let go. Also same name I belive I have a driving while suspended on his name, different city so a speeding and driving while suspended. The guy is out of extradition area. I dont' want to hear anythign about I shouldn't do this, and its a felony and all that bs, I know what I did was wrong. Im looking for a solution not a lecture, so just letting you know spare me the crap.
I have gotten my troubles taken care of, but now I want to get his straightend out. This is in Missouri, about 4 years old, Can I just contact a lawyer to get this taken care of without having to appear in courtAnd what about keeping points off his license, and do you know what this would $. Lawyers any advice?

The solution to this would be to get a lawyer and have him help you resolve this issue. In the end you need to come clean about stealing your friends identity and causing him all kinds of trouble.

You commit FRAUD, perjury, get an innocent man accused of YOUR mis-doings and you don't "WANT A LECTURE"?---you certainly DO deserve one. ...but if I were YOU, I'd go to the nearest police station and confess your SINS to them--and hopefully they will toss the perverbial BOOK at you... how DARE you get someone else accused for YOUR MISTAKES!!! This poor guy now has a driving record that COULD have, and probably DID, cost him increases in his car insurance, COULD have caused him to be DROPPED from insurance and COULD have gotten him ARRESTED for driving without insurance when he didn't even KNOW at the time of your DOINGS! If I were a judge getting YOU in front of me in MY court, I would sentence you to at LEAST a year in jail with NO POSSIBILITY FOR EARLY RELEASE for your actions and then I would make YOU make restitution to the poor hopefully EX-FRIEND that you de-frauded and perjured yourself with.
if you don't want a lecture why are you on her? You did a really crappy thing back then. But is good to read that you trying to make amends. Just keep contacting a lawyer to get it taken care of.

ya know Barb your an idiot, your the type of person that I would like to take out and beat sense into. This young man made a mistake and he is searching for answers. I have been arrested, and I have made my own bad decisions. Stop being a loudmouth and give the lad some respect, be useful r and give him some advice. don't judge him on his past decisions judge him on his current actions.
I agree that what he did was wrong, and if you cared to actualy read this question he is aware of it too. His question is for advice, not to be insulted. If his friend is understanding, then so should you. Thats the problem with alot of people is they think they are better than everyone else. Now to answer your question, You should contact a few lawyers in your state and explain just like you did here, about the situation. You might have to go to court, and in doing so the judge just may respect you. Its a hard thing to do to face your mistakes, It takes alot of doing. Its not going to be easy but you reap what you sow. i wish the best of luck to you,
Ok you asked if he is not on here for a lecture then why is he on here? How can you seriously ask that? he is obviously on here to get answers, note the name yahoo "answers" show respect and answer the question, you dont' have an answer, find a question in which you do. He didn't ask for critisism, matter of fact he asked to keep opinions to yourself. This lack of following directions really annoys me that people really have to criticize, is this something to make your life better? I really don't undertand.
