I'm going to Virginia for college, are there any laws that I should be aware of?

Drinking age, driving ( I know that in MA, they allow 10mph over the speed limit before they start to fine you), things like that.

Answers:
I would stick to the 5 MPH rule if I were you. Radar detectors are also illegal.

Rules are rules wherever you go, they're pretty standard (drinking age is 21, don't speed, etc) but don't worry it. I moved from NJ to VA for college and ended up staying down here for my career (graduated back in '03). NoVa is pretty normal, and I'm sure locals in your classes can always point out stuff.
one thing u should know is that when u r driving u r not allowed 2 talk on a cellphone.
