When i gt emancipated, will i be able to do an 18year olds job? the 16 year old jobs suck!?

I dont want to work in a fast food place,or a grocery store(wich is all a 16 year old can do, apperently the job world does NOT open up when u turn 16)i currently work in spencers in the mall and i was just wondering, when i get emancipated soon, can i finally work at a regular job?
i think i can but im just making sure im right.
I would like to work in cosmotology,or a hair dresser, because i am a model. ,or do something that pays alot, and that gives me benifits

Answers:
In order to work in some of those jobs you listed you must have schooling. Cosmetologists must go to school, hair dressers must go to school, even models need to have schooling (hopefully some kind of business education to help further their careers). When you become emancipated...welcome to the real world. High paying jobs, with benefits, don't come easily to those who don't have the education to back up the cost of paying for those benefits. I know from experience. Good luck to you.

ikd but good luck
Ya gotta start somewhere
You do need to have some marketable skills no matter how old you are.
Maybe. It probably depends on the job. Take for example, the “alcohol minimum age of seller/server” requirements. Just because you’ve been emancipated (which is RARELY granted, by the way) at 16, does not mean you’re allowed to have a job in which you sell/serve alcohol.

KK is right that being a cosmetologist or a hairdresser requires schooling, and I don’t know that those jobs pay ‘a lot’ of money. The jobs that pay a lot of money (at least what I consider to be a lot of money) generally require college degrees.
