Why do they allow so much crime in prison like more rape,murder,and assault?
99% of the ones commiting these acts get away with it. now if u did this in the streets they will haul u to jail. while in jail people will steal from u,steal on u etc. i've been there and seen it happen. u get bet up your going to the hole without mail smokes exta food etc. and the ones did this to you are not punished. the guards bring in drugs, cellphones etc. to the prisoners and bet on the fights. i'm just lucky i survived and my manhood. please stay out of trouble legal money last longer than drug money!

Unfortunately, a lot of people have such a "punitive" point of view ("they're prisoners; they deserve what they get!") that the issue of prisoners' rights are often mocked or ignored. The imprisonment itself should be punishment enough. Prisoners should not also have to fear for their bodily safety.
