Have you ever had to use lethal force to defend your own life?
Ive always wondered in the back of my mind IF i had to shoot someone to defend my life (ie: intruder in my home, or just someone who flat out wants to kill me)
If you were attacked and the purp had his mind set on killing you and you used lethal force if you would be able to live a normal life again after that...I know for instance some of our soldiers are able to come back from war and live a perfictly fine civilan life but others cannot live with the fact that they killed someone.
My question is, If you knew you had the risk of that haunting you, would you still use lethal force if it was absolutly required. (if it was going to be you or the intruder who lived)

Well, it wasn't quite lethal.
She was tickling me so I held her under the covers and let one go that about choked her to death.
Now the other part, could I use lethal force? Yes. Wouldn't even hesitate. I don't really know for sure but I don't think it would bother me afterward if I felt justified.

No question. I'd learn to deal with it. I have a husband and a four-year-old. If it came down to a person threatening either of them, I'd take the bastard down with nary a regret.
Yes and it would not and dose not bother me that I had to do that.

A knife is more fun. I love the look in their eyes when you turn the knife. At that point, the realize they screwed up but it's too late.
