How do you get out of jury duty?

How do you get out of jury dutie? I work as a trader. I trade stocks for a living. I can't go to jury duty.

Answers:
If you have kids you can get out of it that way. But I would go.

Say that you are a big time racist.
I think you can try to tell them that you'll be out of town. That might work.
If you didn't ruin the envelope opening it up, glue, NOT TAPE, the thing back together and mark "Return to sender, address unknown, no such number, no such zone."
It worked once for me.
Become a felon. They are not allowed to serve on a jury
show reason or hardship. Judge will not (see: contempt charges) allow unless you can prove claim.
Otherwise, military aren't allowed to serve on a jury, try that
the only way you get out of it is you have a child and your the guardian or your not a US citizen. but dont get your hopes down you may not get picked. or you have a misdemeanor or felony.
That is a shallow, and greedy, reason to not serve on a jury. Being a full time student can get you dismissed. Or when your are in the interrview process, tell them exactly what they don't want to hear, showing a total bias one way or another like racisim.
i am disabled so i get out very6 easy. you could say something big is happening with your business. i had inventory when i worked or the largest retailer and they excused me from duty. good luck.
