It is very, very difficult to sue CPS! A few suits do get through, but the vast majority are doomed because CPS has lots of immunity.

Firstly, why would you want to sue Child Protective Services? If they took someone's kids away, they have a very good reason. Suing them will get you nowhere, as in order to take the children away, they need to have evidence, so the case against them will not hold up in court.
As the old saying goes, there's no sense fighting the IRS, the grim reaper, or CPS. Even if you've done nothing wrong, be prepared to spend tons of money on attorney's fees and other legal costs to reverse a CPS decision, unless you can prove actual negligence (as opposed to just plain stupidity). Sorry, bro, you in for a tough ride.
