UU are bound by exactly the same H&S regulations as every other employer and entity in the UK.
Those requirements are set out in a myriad of statutes (HSW Act 1974 for example) and regulations and directives.
The HSE website has a searchable list of those specifically relating to individual industries. You'll be amazed how many there are.
