What class is my Federal Felony? Can it be Exponged?
Convicted of Conspiracy to Produce False Identification in 2002. I cant find out what class felony it is. It is federal. I am trying to get it Exponged (sp.). Any ideas on if it can be? if so, what is the best process?
Answers:
Expunged. The laws for such shenanigans vary by state, so we would need that in order to respond.
According to 179:62 of NHRS, it is a "Class B" felony.
In my state, CO, you can have any felony expunged after six years, provided that it did not involve violence.
Only the President of the US can issue a pardon which results in automatic expungement of your conviction, sentence and any probation served. If ordered to pay a fine, you'll likely receive that money from the US Treasury. If you have 6 degrees of separation to Scooter Libby, now is the time to shake those contacts and see what he can do for you.
