Can anyone help me with these two court cases?

Reynolds vs smith
And
lemon vs kurtzman.

Ive got AP goverment and already foung many court cases the only ones left are these two.

Ive googeld them and looked them up on wikipedia but i cant really understand them. Can someone translate or explain them to me.

Any help would be great

You should post citations for a question like this - there may be several Reynolds vs. Smith cases...one I found (in Iowa, 1910) holds that a physician is not responsible for the acts of nurses and interns in a hospital in dressing wounds of a patient. That may not be what you meant.

Lemon vs. Kurtzman is pretty easy. In 1971 the Supreme Court said laws or government practices are unconstitutional if they have a religious purpose, primarily
advance or promote religion, or excessively entangle government and religion. Interpretation of what constitutes excessive entanglement has been difficult for courts, and some would argue that the holding has been undercut in recent years both by subsequent decisions and by various government agencies.

Others would disagree.
