Isnt this a bit hypocritical?
the 5 permament members of the UN security council sell the most arms so indirectly or directly they are financing most of the major conflicts and many littler ones.
Has anyone ever adressed this at the UN?

.Yes in deed. Is it not strange that the people who are supposed to be keeping peace in the world will be out of business if they succeed.---Is it a tad difficult to believe they'll be anxious to do that?
Who cares? It is the UN, what can they do about it? At the time the UN was created, we were the 4 strongest nations on earth and France, and for the most part, it is the same way today. The UN has no way to stop us because we are permanent members.
Hyprocracy is a staple at the UN. This is only one example.
