Question about driving in Connecticut on a Pennsylvania learners permit?
I'm going to Connecticut next week. My family is driving up and I just got my Permit last month. I am from Pennsylvania and my dad is letting me drive in Pennsylvania but I was wondering if anyone could tell me the laws on driving under a permit from another state in Connecticut. Is it legal? I am going to visit my brother and I want him to see me drive up to his house but of course I want it to be done legally. I would appreciate if you could give any web sites or if you are from Connecticut or know for sure please give me your information. Thanks in advance.
Answers:
Yes, driving on a learner's permit is allowed in other state's as long as you are fulfilling your state's restrictions on learner's permits (Driving with an adult, driving between certain hours, etc.). But just call the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles if you need a precise answer. Their number is 860-263-5700
