Which is worse, lying to a Grand Jury and committing perjury.?

Or killing a known drug dealer while on duty protecting your country?

Obviously Bush thinks perjury is a lesser crime, but I'd like to hear your thoughts. Which is worse?

Answers:
To me it would be the perjury to a Grand Jury.

Oh and to the first answer.. for the record, they never lied about it and there were numerous SUPERVISORS there that day when it happened. There was a lot of Intel which was withheld from the jury and there are 3 jurors who point blank said they were threatened during the trial because they were told that this trial would not end in a hung jury...which means it would come out guilty or they just don't leave until it DOES come out that way. Justice was not served, when a drug dealer is free to come and go as he pleases while two officers take the fall for doing their jobs.

hmm u talking about shooting someone in the back while they are running away and then coverning it up, like ramos? Or are you talking about not remember specific details of something that happend 18 months before? Ok what did you have for lunch on July 8, 2005?
Tuna on wheat toast.
It really all depends. Killing the drug dealer--was it premeditated? What evidence is there the fact that the man was a drug dealer (other than people saying he says she says)? Why did you feel the need to shoot the drug dealer? Was the suspect armed or not?

There are too many unlisted factors. What Bush's opinion is doesn't matter. Though he is the president, there are rules in our law system that people can't mess around with (unless a deal is struck with the DA, etc.) Besides, he is entitled his own opinion.

Involving the perjury and if it was a lesser/greater crime, it would also depend on the case. If a person lied about shop lifting, I think that it would be a lesser crime. If a person lied about something bigger like where a body was located, etc. then it would be a whole different story.
In the final analysis, all opinions are irrelevant and immaterial. For the answer to your question, read Exodus Chapter 20 verses 1 to 17. (The 10 Commandments)
