What do you think about the man who was arrested after attempting to meet with mother and daughters 4 sex?
I think it is utter rubbish to have had arrested and charged the man for attempted rape and it was not a real person on the other hand.
The detective encouraged the man by playing along and enticing him further... no real parent would have done that and in a real case both the parent and the man would hve been held accountble and would be facing charges.
Chances are that this man would have never had the opportunity to do that but here came this fictitious woman who made this possible.
this case is not real so counsel the man and send himon his merry way and stop embarrassing him and his children on TV...
it was not real and if it were real both he and the prent woudl be in trouble.

wow, that is entrapment,,,, and wrong i think
edit, who doest want sex with a 13 year old girl,,,,
every male i know does.
i do not mean prepubescent but most 13 yo are developed...
isnt it innate? in all of human history 30 or 40 year old men marry 13 year olds.
Its entrapment. Based on your verbage, I take that this happened in the UK.
Same happens here when 30 year old police officers pose as 13 year old kids on the internet and entice older men to meet them.
The legality of it, is dubious at best. Regardless of the disgusting nature of the men who want to have sex with a 13 year old child.
Generally, at common law, police enticing a defendant into criminal action could be subject to a defense of entrapment. However, in most modern jurisdictions, the entrapment defense can be overcome by the defendant's "disposition" to commit the crime, if such can be proven regardless of the entrapment. Also, many of these people are charged with attempted rape, sodomy, etc. Depending on the jurisdiction, they may also be charged with conspiracy in a jurisdiction that uses the (modern, not common law) "unilateral conspiracy" theory.
he was soliciting sex from a minor..regardless of who was on the other end..he should have thought seriously before he done it..personal responsibility
I take it that the "daughter" in this case would have been a minor... if so, he should be arrested, though I don't understand the "attempted rape" charge if no actual contact took place.
Your statement that "no real parent would have done that" is incorrect... there was a news story about 6 months ago of a woman who was arrested for attempting to pimp out her 13 yr old daughter.
I DO NOT feel comfortable with the techniques that border on entrapment by some of these law-enforcement agencies.
But I ALSO feel that those who ARE caught and convicted of sex with minors under 14 should be executed.
On the other hand, my 15 yr old girl was chatting with friends on My space and got this jag off wanting to lick and suck explicit areas of her person, and was trying to get added to their group or what ever. His profile was, 30+ yr old and supposedly in India. I had her send him a threat of turning him in and she tried getting him blocked. The next day, his wanting to be added to there group was back. So, I felt the need to be my natural self and threatened to do more than report him, but would not need police if I ever caught hold of pigs, like him, in person to stop baby raping scumbags from existing. Like any new legal threats, they have to figure out how to lure them in to prevent further damage. My guess is, they'll use a CI/convicted sex offender to entrap and find more like him, for a better deal. They need to alter their methods of engagement & waste millions of $$$, but they will get it done.
