Is police intimidation legal?
GOT THIS COP TRYING TO INTIMIDATE LAST NIGHT HE WAS HARRASING ME TRYING TO GET ME TO SAY SOMETHING SO HE COULD BUST ME..BUT ALL HE DID WAS TRY AND SCARE ME CUZ HE HAD A GUN AND BADGE IS THIS LEGAL...I DID NOTHING WRONG HE CAME TO ME AT THE GAS PUMPS ASKING ABOUT A PERSONAL PROBLEM ME AND HIM HAVE..NICE TO SEE HE HAS TIME TO DO PERSONAL THINGS ON THE CITYS TIME
the problem between us happned at a party we were guest at...i told him something ppl got in between us he didnt like looking like a fool
and i got audio of wat happned last night is that any good

The situation you described sounds highly unprofessional and unethical but unless the police officer actually threatened you in some way I am not sure it is illegal. Regardless, it is unprofessional enough to report a complaint to the police officers superior. It is almost certainly a violation of regulations the police officer is bound to follow.
If you have a modern police department then the police car has a video tape and your conversation was recorded. Notify internal affairs at the police department he works at and ask them to review the video.
it is ilegal for police to try to itimidate you. its called harasment. if you taped it, then take that tape to either the local pd, or to an attorney. make a case against this guy, not enough people do so when this happens and cops seem to think its just part of the job. But remeber all cops are there to serve and protect, not harras and arrest.
I believe the job of an officer is to intimidate those who intimidate others, but if you really did nothing and he was trying to get you to fess up to something you should show the police chief (unless he was the chief, then show the superintendant or mayor or something) the audio tape.
