Does alabama have a commision for the study and treatment of drug abuse?

Answers:
I did a quick search and didn't find anything and it's something I never heard of in the 6 yrs I lived in Alabama.

i think so, check the state website
Try this link. Although not EXACTLY what you are asking it may help.
The closest thing to a "commission" is the Substance Abuse Services Division of the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Retardation. I've put its website in the "source" field. The Governor declared it to be "the lead agency for substance abuse services for the State of Alabama" in 2004 per http://www.governorpress.alabama.gov/pr/...
