Does anyone find the righteous indignation displayed by Sen James Byrd (d wvu) ironic...?

regarding this ugly Michael Vick situation. I believe "barbaric" was the term he used. This coming from a man that was an avowed member of an organization responsible for countless hangings and lynchings during the 19th and 20th century (ku klux klan).

Go put your pointy hood on, Grand wizard Byrd, and look in the mirror before you display such outrage.

Responses please.

Answers:
I find it ironic that he has any credibility with his back ground much less the fact that he is a very senior Democrat Senator who has a lot of power.

Not to sound like a Byrd defender, but he has made several speaches in which he has apologized for his involvement with the KKK.

As far as his speach about dog fighting goes.
