If a teen of the age of 13 gets blamed for stealing and did not what can happen!HELP please!?

A 13 year old is with his friends at the park and gets blamed for stealing a key from the adviser that works at the park. They call the police and the officer says that is they dont confess they will get taken to jail. But the problem is that there were 3 boys and one of them did take the key but that one was not really friends with the other 2 so he took the key and blamed it on the other 2.What can those 2 boys do to convince the police that it was not them that it was the other boy?Without snitching on the boy that did it.PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME ON THIS!!

Answers:
I would just deny that I did it and stick with the story that you don't know who did take it. They are not going to arrest you.

Why would they not want to "snitch" on the other boy. He lied and got them in trouble. He's obviously no friend so let him take the heat he deserves.
I could help you more if you could recognize that there is nothing wrong with "snitching" on someone that is trying to make you take the fall for what they did.

To hell with that kid. The other two need to finger him, and tell him his mistake was trying to pin the blame on people that knew who really did it.
"without snitching" ??

you mean without telling the Truth !!

If you omit the truth to the police regarding a crime you should get what you deserve.
People need to stop worrying about snitching and worry about keeping their own silly selves out of jail.
However, a cop telling minors, without parents present, that they will confess or go to jail is HIGHLY illegal. Those boys' parents should be present whenever they are questioned by a police officer. They should also be called about this situation ... I'm sure no parent would want his or her son to go down for stealing a stupid key and not snitching.
It sounds to me like all three boys are guilty, because all three were together when this "crime" occurred, no one did anything to prevent the crime from occurring, and no one is willing to cooperate with police in investigating the crime. If your friend thinks he's innocent, because he didn't actually put the key in his hand and take it, then maybe he needs to learn this lesson.
Your friends are accomplices, if nothing else, of the bad kid.

That said, adults don't really care about schoolyard codes on snitching. If your friends want to convince the police they didn't have anything to do with it, they're going to have to rat out the third kid.
Normally, I would mind my own business and not snitch unless I were going to be harmed by their action, if they are going to make your friend pay for their bad choices rat that SOB out. Then, if the cops told you you "had" to confess or they would take you to jail I would take them to court for denying your right not to incriminate yourself. You have a right to remain silent, you never "have" to confess. Rat the kid out, it wills crew up your record and your life if you don't. Might spend a while in Juvie too.
