You can be arrested but then you'll be "certified", which basically means that a judge or a doctor will make a legal claim that you need psychiatric help and you'll be put in a psychiatric hospital. I don't think you'll get a criminal record for it either.

As to your question yes it is. I should know i tried it, fortunately it didn't work. I got in alot of trouble though i had psychiatrist at my backside telling me that i am mentally ill, how embarrassing.
