Would you raise a family in a city that encourages criminal activity?
Austin, Texas is a "sanctuary city" and they encourage and promote criminals and their crimes against this nation.

That is a shame. Ausitn was once a nice city.
I'd move away from cities with high crime rates.

First of all a city doesnt raise your children you do. And if the city is teaching my children to have compassion for people who are not as blessed as they are then I would be happy to raise them there.
Then dont raise your children there.
How did you come to that conclusion?
If you are very convinced that it is so, the best thing to do is to uproot yourself and move in a different town.
ya i'm only prejudice against people from a few places: Texas, Alabama, and Georgia.
I know it's unfair and reflects poorly on my character, but I have a bias against the south and Texas in particular, so for me (unfortunately) I am not surprised.

Everybody wants to have a good family. As much as possible, the parents will eliminate all treat from preventing them to do so.
But in some cases, where their hands are tied up in a situation wherein they can't move out, parents will tend to protect their family by either counseling or get the attention of the authority.
Anyway there still hope to raise a good family in this city, because your still part of the country who believe that it is a land of the free and the home of the brave. Good luck.
Yes. I would name the kids Tyronne, Starquisha, and Deshwon. That way they fit in.
